Imagined as an itinerary—free-ranging and free of charge—sprinkled with exhibits and festive parties organized each night of the week, aimed at design lovers and the French and international trade who will be in Paris for the MAISON&OBJET show.
Brings together the major players in design in Paris
Furniture, decoration, fashion, gastronomy, art, and the art of living under the banner of design, all the paths to creation intersect in the very place they emerged:
showrooms, concept stores, designers’ workshops, galleries, cultural institutions, hotels and restaurants. Over 180 spaces, 250 participants and 100,000 visitors joined forces in 2013 to offer a decompartmentalized, accessible, broad-based view of design.
The design event of the season
whose goal is to celebrate design and share with a growing French and international audience the emerging trends of the year and demonstrate the vitality of Paris, Capitale de la Creation!
On the programme:
– an itinerary that includes the city’s must-see lifestyle hotspots – an extension of MAISON&OBJET PARIS throughout the city
– now! le Off at Les Docks – Cit? de la Mode et du Design, with the best of the young designer generation, up-and-coming talents, rising manufacturers and select design-school projects
– special installations created exclusively for the event
– talks held in symbolic locations in central Paris, always featuring a duo of designers or architects discussing a prescribed topic.
